I need to change my current Payoneer account to a different Payoneer account

Overview

You may need to change the Payoneer account linked to Crossover for your payments, either to a brand-new account or to one you already have. This applies when:

  • You are switching from being paid personally to being paid through a business entity.
  • Payoneer has advised you to open a new account, either due to an issue with your current account or because a new account is required to accommodate a change you requested, such as moving to a different country.

Crossover Support can arrange this for you. You cannot re-link the account yourself, as it has to be completed on the Crossover side.

Just want to change how your money reaches you?

If you only want to switch between receiving funds on your prepaid card and having them sent to your bank account, you do not need a new Payoneer account and you do not need to contact us. That setting lives in your own Payoneer account under Automatic Withdrawal. See "Change Payoneer From Prepaid Card to Bank Account" for the steps.

Come back to this article only if Payoneer tells you that a new account is required to make that change.

Before you contact us

If you want to be paid through a business entity, please add and verify your entity details first:

  1. Go to Residence and Entity settings
  2. Add your entity information and verification document.
  3. Make sure the entity shows as verified and that the verification has not expired.

We can't start the account change until this is done, so completing it beforehand saves time.

If Payoneer advised you to open a new account, have their message or a screenshot ready. Sharing it with us helps avoid back-and-forth.

How to request the change

Contact Crossover Support and let us know:

  • That you want to link a different Payoneer account
  • The reason for the change
  • If you are moving to an entity: that your entity details have been added and verified
  • If Payoneer advised the new account: what they told you

What happens next

  1. We coordinate with our HR & Finance team to generate a Payoneer invitation link specific to your account.
  2. We send you that link.
  3. You open the link and either sign in to an existing Payoneer account or create a new one. You'll be able to choose between:
    • a Prepaid Mastercard® account, where funds are typically available within about an hour and can be spent or withdrawn worldwide, or
    • an automatic Bank Transfer account, where payments go directly to your local bank account in your local currency.
  4. You let us know once you've finished.
  5. We complete the linking on the Crossover side and confirm when it's done.

⚠️ Important: Open the invitation link in an incognito / private browsing window. The setup will not complete correctly otherwise.

All future Crossover payments will go to your new Payoneer account once we confirm the change is complete. Payments already in progress at the time of the switch may still follow the old account.
