Overview
If you receive your Crossover payments through Payoneer, you can choose how the money reaches you: onto your Payoneer prepaid card, or transferred automatically to your own bank account.
This is a setting inside your Payoneer account, and you might be able to change it yourself. You do not need a new Payoneer account, and you do not need to contact Crossover Support.
Nothing changes on the Crossover side. Your payments will continue to be sent to the same Payoneer account as always. The only difference is what Payoneer does with the funds once they arrive.
Before you start
You will need:
- Payoneer set as your payment platform with Crossover
- Access to your Payoneer account
- Your bank account details
The bank account normally needs to be in your own name, and Payoneer may ask you to verify it before withdrawals can begin. If you are being paid through a business entity, the bank account usually needs to match that entity.
How to change it
- Log in to Payoneer using your credentials.
- Open Payoneer's Automatic Withdrawal - General Information article.
- Follow the steps under "How do I withdraw my funds automatically from Payoneer?"
Once automatic withdrawal is set up, funds arriving in your Payoneer account will be sent on to your bank account without you doing anything each time.
Tip: Set this up before your next payment date if you can. A payment that has already been released may still follow your previous withdrawal method.
Good to know
- Payoneer charges its own fees for withdrawals to a bank account, and the amount you receive can be affected by currency conversion. Check the current fees and expected timing in your Payoneer account before switching.
- Withdrawals to a bank account are not instant in the way card payments are. Payoneer will show you the expected timeframe for your country and currency.
If you run into problems
Payoneer manages this setting, so Payoneer is best placed to help. Reach them through any of the methods in the Contact Us section of their site or your account.
Common things they can help with: a bank account that won't verify, a currency that isn't supported for your country, or withdrawal options that don't appear as expected.
When to contact Crossover Support instead
There is one situation where this becomes our job rather than Payoneer's:
If Payoneer tells you that a new Payoneer account is required to receive payments the way you want, contact Crossover Support. Linking a different Payoneer account to Crossover has to be done on our side, and we will coordinate it for you.
See "I need to change my current Payoneer account to a different Payoneer account" for that process. When you contact us, please include what Payoneer told you.
