To learn more about the Crossover Benefits available to all W2 Partners paid through Paychex, please see the "Benefits available to the W2 employees" section below.
New employees can begin by using the New Hire Checklist to learn about eligibility and plan details.
All full-time W2 employees are eligible for benefits. This applies specifically to those on the Paychex payment platform, and only to U.S. W2 employees. Your health care benefits begin on whichever date is later: the date you were hired or the date you enroll in the benefits.
Please be aware that your contractor or W2 status is determined by your hiring manager. Crossover is unable to alter this status upon request.

- 401k
Employees become eligible for 401(k) benefits 180 days after their start date. Once the 180-day eligibility requirement is met, enrollment follows a quarterly entry schedule. This means the employee's enrollment date will be the first day of the next calendar quarter following their eligibility date.
For example, if an employee reaches 180 days of employment in February, their 401(k) enrollment date will be April 1.
On the applicable enrollment date, employees are automatically enrolled in the pre-tax 401(k) plan at a 1% contribution rate. Currently, there is no employer match available.
A Roth (post-tax) 401(k) option is also available but is not included in automatic enrollment. Once the employee becomes eligible and their 401(k) account is established according to the quarterly entry schedule, they can choose to enroll in the Roth 401(k) option.
