While attempting to install WorkSmart on Windows, the installer may stop with the message: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.". This is usually the result of a previous failure to uninstall WorkSmart that corrupted the installation package Crossover-x86.msi.
You will need to use the CCleaner application in order to remove the previous WorkSmart installation and reinstall the latest version available in the Crossover portal.
After executing the installer application, the wizard will stop with the following message:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Crossover-x86.msi' in the box below.
- Download and install CCleaner.
- Access Tools utility and use it to uninstall any Crossover WorkSmart entry listed.
- Install the latest Windows WorkSmart version.
The WorkSmart installation will finish successfully, displaying the message:
The InstallShield Wizard has successfully installed Crossover WorkSmart. Click Finish to exit the wizard.
