Overview

While trying to add Manual Time at the end of your week you may receive the error message "An error occurred while processing your request. Unable to add manual time". This error is generated because the workweek in UTC is already finished, meaning that the cutoff time is passed and it's not possible to add manual time for last week's timecards.

Diagnosis

While following the solution provided in the Adding Manual Time article, you may find that although the current week in UTC is over the Add Manual Time button is still enabled. This is because you didn't refresh the webpage after Sunday 23:59 UTC, as a result, you will be able to proceed to the manual time form.

After you submit the manual time request you will receive the error message "An error occurred while processing your request. Unable to add manual time" in your dashboard and your manual time is not submitted:

Solution

Be sure that you submit your manual time request before the end of the current workweek (before Monday UTC-0 of next week).
