Cannot submit contact information due to duplicate Skype ID

Issue

When a candidate submits contact information, they receive the following message:

“It looks like someone already has an account on Crossover under that Skype ID. Either you're that lucky person or you mistyped it :)”.

Resolution

This message is returned when a previous account was created with the same Skype ID. Please note that Crossover policy permits only one account per candidate. Multiple accounts are discouraged and could be seen as a fraud attempt.

If you receive this message but are not attempting to create a second account, please send a ticket to our Support department. For analysis, please include in the ticket the Skype ID, the email address used to register the Crossover account, and any screenshots and information that might help resolve the issue faster.
