Overview

The WorkSmart application lets you set a delay before your webcam takes a photo. This allows you to set a number of seconds of delay between the WorkSmart process start and the webcam shot, which can be noticed by the webcam led turning on.

Prerequisites

• Active contractor using WorkSmart to track time.

Solution

1. Right-click on the WorkSmart icon () on the Task Bar.
2. Select Preferences:
   
   
   
   
3. In the Add X Secs delay section, you will be able to select 1/3/5/10 seconds for the webcam shot delay. For example, if you select 5 seconds, your webcam will take your photo five seconds after WorkSmart's script initiates the process of taking the photo.
   
   
   
   
4. Click OK to confirm the changes.

Confirmation

1. Right-click on the Crossover icon () on the Task Bar.
2. Select Preferences:
   
   
   
   
3. Click on Camera Test to confirm that the delay is working:
